Chipping Norton and Stow on the Wold Methodist Circuit is part of Northamptan District of the Methodist Church in Britain. In the year 2013, it became 200 years old. Over the years the circuit has been serving the community.
Encompassing three different counties, the circuit is widespread, with eight Methodist Churches in small towns and villages. With the richness of the history of this region and the vibrant Methodist heritage it has acquired, the churches have strived to be a strong witness to the Christian faith in their own local communities. Ecumenical relationship and cooperation is one strong element in the life of the churches.
Across the circuit, a variety of social, spiritual and community activities and services are offered. Sunday services are mainly in the morning, but two of the churches have their regular worship in the evening, with monthly Holy Communion.
The circuit is served by a team of ministers, circuit stewards and local preachers.
